N.B short for Norris Bennett, aka N.B the Rapper/Sanger Dude , was born in Douglas, Ga. From birth he moved around a lot, due to his father’s career in the military. So as child he was constantly traveling and discovering different cultures and environments, things that would eventually turn into his life’s mission, to be an entertainer.
Starting around the age of four, he sang and performed for family, friends, neighbors, and just about anyone else around and was willing to listen. Whenever music came on, he was front and center. As a teenager he strayed away from the music and entertainment industry, and became more interested in other things like girls, clubs, and drinking. But, no matter how hard he tried to fight the feeling, the passion to sing was still in his heart. He had to return to music.
While working extremely hard on his music career, he felt as though no one in his hometown was making any progress or better yet any “major moves”, so he decided to make it happen. He did this not only for himself but for South Georgia as a whole. He set out to master his singing voice, and shortly after mastering it, he began to rap. In 2006 he decided quit my job to pursue music full time.
While T.I, Ludacris, R. Kelly, Musiq, Soul child, T-Pain, & Usher are just a few of his influences, because of their versatilities, song writing and story telling abilities, and just being able to captivate an audience. He strived to continue to bring originality to the music scene and hope that his story gets told to the masses.
